i use a program video player called "media player classic"
easy to find google search and is a free download. just click create thumbnails when playing a video thru it. that simple

where is create "thumbnails" in WMPC
I also have been using Windows Media Player Classic to play my clips but I cant find the option ("Create thumbnails")
