It is possible to do that Steve-O, but it tends to be a burdensome process that is unintuitive, complicated to explain, and involves downloading the flash .flv file then converting it to a more usable/viewable video format like .wmv, .mpg, or whatever. Many times I don't even bother downloading youtube clips to my hard drive and converting them simply because of the hassle of the entire process. Little bit of a pain in the butt.
However, here is a converter website that is one step of the overall process that a person can start with if they want to at least save the unconverted file:
