Sources (Harry Potter, the famed Boy-Who-Lived who had came across such information, as well as most of the Hogwarts staff, and shockingly Severus Snape[part of the latter]) confirms that Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore indeed has a thing for socks. Dobby, a currently free house elf has also confirmed the statement. The amount of infatuation that Professor Dumbledore seems to show for socks (his or otherwise) borders obsessive. So I ask of yee, the wizarding/informed muggle public if they can confirm such a yern for the foot wear by the Hogwarts headmaster.
