That's pretty crazy that they try to trick you into paying $1/day. That's fucked up in my view man... sorry to hear that. Whatever you do, don't call that special phone number or give them any of your financial info... that is just messed up!
But Rapidshare sux though and has gotten worse and worse as they
abuse their perceived monopoly. I might try uploading.com in the future per your suggestion.
if you have other good suggestions about different upload sites, I might also take a look at those too.
