I've been rereading the Harry Potter series and I noticed that J. K. Rowling has a rather disturbing obsession with feet (or perhaps it is just a sock fetish). When Dumbledore looks in the Mirror of Erised, he sees himself with new socks. Dobby loves bright and colorful socks, and he often wears more than one pair at a time. And one year Harry's uncle gives him a pair of his old socks as a present. How do you feel about this? Personally, I am saddened by how much time J. K. Rowling spends with her mind in the gutter.
