Open Question: Is there a difference between a foot fetish and just liking feet?

Fetishes creep me out, and I'm worried my boyfriend might be hiding his from me. He likes my feet, but says it's not a fetish. He's touches them often when we're messing around, and likes when I wear sandals (when it's warmer). I don't mind the attention he gives them now, but I'm worried that it's going to progress into a foot fetish, which I find really creepy. We've been together over a year, and it hasn't gotten worse, but I'm still wondering if he has a fetish. Do you think he just likes feet as part of me, or he has some fetish? This is the first guy who really paid any attention to them, so I'm a little confused about this. Thanks for your input on this! I kind of like when he touches them, I just don't want to end up doing weird stuff with them.
